Good Friday

Postby Juanita on Sat Apr 03, 2010 8:29 am

Lots of fun this Semana Santa. The natives are enjoying the beach. We are not as crowded as the Mulege Conception beaches nor the Rosarito Ensenada beaches. Almost all the visitors are Mexican. Cielito has a couple of rooms and a few RV spots occupied. Residents had spaghetti and a "Red Dog" card game at Johnny & Sandra's Thursday, A Good Friday fish taco and ice cream night at Joe & Kay's last night (see photo). We will be having oyster & shrimp Po'Boys this afternoon and ??? for Easter.

 Another couple of fun times missed.
Happy Easter to all.... R&D
Just got back AGAIN from Cedar City, Utah. We bought an OLD house there, right next to our daughters place. C.C. is 6,000' so its colder there than here, and windy!!. 8" of snow fell just after we left on Wed. We were there 12 days working on getting the house ready to use as a KOA/bed-no breakfast retreat. Travel from here to there we go thru Nevada via the Tonnapha route. No traffic!... with lots of long vistas and super pretty mountains to look at most of the way. Many vistas and mountains remind us of some of the Baja areas we have driven thru.... giving us a Baja fix till we can make a trip south again. Hasta, D
