If you are coming to Baja, be aware the Mexico customs agents have been replaced with double the amount of new agents and supposedly a goal is to inspect every vehicle coming into Mexico. Drugs, guns, excessive cash, contraband, and items that need to be declared for duty are on the inspector's list.
