Memorial Day...adventures with Ricardo..

Canta no llores seems to be the theme of this journey thru the backroads of Richards memory book.
1st day road trip..left the rancho at 8am..cruised thru tecate..on to yuma..arrived in Parker apx.5pm...1st stop..of course..the localV.F.W....met some great vets and a couple of Ricardo's old buddies...still had some of his art work on the wall and of course heard a few tall tales from the good old days....continued on to a few more VFW haunts...and gourged on chicken fried steak at the local diner...in beautiful downtown Parker....arrived in Loughlin...after several VFW pit stops...on Friday.......Golden Nugget here we come...slots ringing in our ears...more next post...stay tuned..hasta..randy..nancy..ricardo..alias road-warriors

....the saga continues.....Ricardo's journey....friday,sat.,sun.....pretty much an orgy of dark casino slots, black jack, and very little reality....Ricardo was hot cold and in between...yet those machines seemed to recognize his touch....and at times were very, very, good to Reeeechard....we all ate like royalty..thanks to the comps, and ricardo cuddled up to the bar maids continuously...only scarey moment...nancita and I could not hang with the grizzley vet Sat. night and hit the hay at 2am......ricardo rolled in at 3am....with condoms in his pocket and lipstick on his collar...mumbling jibberish about 5 full bodied women in a pink caddilac taking him on a trip around the world....amen to that...he was up all night if you know what I mean...hasta for now....road warriors......

Dave here. Sounds like you are having a ball. Really nice of you to take Richard on the voyage. Maybe he introduced to our resident "Geno" in Parker.
Have more fun in Laughlin gambling and sightseeing.

On the road again.....Ricardo has been visiting at our house in cathedral city..hit the street fair last night, got to watch Nancy play soccer, stopped by Bing Crosby's bar, and a few others...Hair of the Dog./Patty's,/Yard House,etc...pues..Richard finally ran out of necklaces..and one liners so I guess its time to head back to the Rancho...hopefully see you all at Happy Hour...Ricardo says milkbones are on him..if he doesn'eat them all on the road......stories to tell..as the legend grows...hasta..randy-nancy-ricardo..alias road warriors...seeyasooooon!!!!

Sounds like you all had a real good time!!!! Don't let Richard out do you. We are in Arkansas. Had to make a detour as our oldest Grand son was killed in a accident. Hasn't been the trip we wanted but with family and friends we are coping. Miss you all and will see you this fall......Marty
